Viewing the lit up crown in person walking or biking along Nicollet Mall is a beautiful sight. The crown and the lighted base along Nicollet Mall are by far the best design features of this building.

That looks much better than the two bars I saw last week. Still wish that those bars could change colors though.

Man, I wish I hadn't been so damn exhausted last night so I could have gotten out and taken some pictures of stuff. The mist makes for some really great shots at night.

Thank you for the compliments. In heavy mist, standing at the base of the Wells Fargo tower with the top shrouded is like looking up at the Empire State building.

I think the Crown on WF is awesome too! It's just a shame that from so many angles it is covered by other buildings.

Anyone else heard that Nick on Fifth has bagged the Trader Joes that has been looking to set up downtown? This would be the 3rd time in the last few days where I was at a function where I've been told this by people who would generally be in a position to know.

That is cheap as hell.
They probably could have gotten a sweet deal on all the marble they're stripping of the Gaviidae II across the street.
