Salvador da Bahia

This is what is happening in Bahia right now, the biggest street Carnaval in the world. Semis with bands on top of the trailers, modified with speakers underneath the band. They shut down some of the main corridors and run the bands through all night. The streets where they pass through are closed down for over a week. People pay for the Abadás, or shirts, that the band sells and they walk along with the truck through the circuit. This started in Salvador last Thursday and will go well into Wednesday, they don't stop on Tuesday.
