I know it's a whole different ballgame, but man, Pitchfork always has killer lineups. http://pitchforkmusicfestival.com/

Radio K is the best. (Totally unbiased opinion of a former student staff member.)

Modest Mouse - they sure are playing that new track a lot. It's been more than 10 years since "Float On" so these guys aren't quite the draw they once were. I'd say they're about the right level of popularity for a RTG headliner.
Nailed it bishes. Modest Mouse is your headliner of a pretty blasé Sunday lineup.

I don't get Radio K. Then again, I'm only sometimes interested in the Current. I'm one of those horrible folks that actually listens to Go 96.3 (or 95% of the time, MPR News, TBH).

I wonder if there isn't some unspoken rule forbidding anything slightly edgy.

With the exception of Babes in Toyland, and maybe Courtney Barnett, it seems like none of these bands ever turn their amps past 5, like ever.

It's cool that Sean Kuti is playing.

None of these bands are really "my thing." Belle and Sebastian is kind of interesting, although if I go it'd probably be on Sunday.

My complaint this year is the same as last year, though. Saturday night should end with a good rock band, not a throwback (and in this case, a throwback that plays mellow music).

I've been listening to Modest Mouse since... Ah, shit, middle school, I think? So I'll have to go, even if it's blasé to most of you. :D

I don't think it's a bad lineup at all, but hey, music tastes vary even more than architectural, right?

Look guys, the secret is just to just stop liking things, then you'll never be disappointed (any more than normally at least).

I saw Rock in the name of the fest, I thought the same! There is plenty of rock and roll coming through town during the summer. All in all, I'm not grumpy about it. I've seen Modest Mouse before and they put a pretty good show.

Enjoy!
