Guys, serious question: is it worth arguing with the "unwashed masses" when it comes to housing (and I realize I'm being offensive and dismissive of people by using that term but that's kind of my point).
Probably not. Though I was successfully able to get a friend to stop complaining about new student housing around the U. She was convinced before that it was unreasonably priced (and, like many, wanted magical, clean, new 1-bedrooms with underground parking right by campus for $500 a month).

If they don't know you, they don't care. You're just a yuppie who wants to live in a condo and drive up their prices.
