Does anyone happen to have any GOOD images of the short lived Conservatory Shopping Center located on the Nicolett [sic] Mall? There are very few photos online and most only show the outside. I would love to see what it looked like on the inside (supposedly it was quite ornate and beautiful) before things went south. I'm obsessed with development in Mpls in the past, present, and future!
*City Center photos before the remodel would also be welcome!

Re: Conservatory Photos
Pics of Minneapolis in the 90s are pretty hard to come by. Old Minneapolis only uses pics from before '87 I think. But yeah, I'd love to see some good 90s pics If anyone has any or any links. This is a time when many of us grew up and first got to know the city, but may have been too young to have anything but fuzzy memories. Thatcio used to run a regular photo feature on ouruptown.com from this era that was pretty awesome.

James Lileks is a Star Tribune writer and has a nice website setup. Here are a few links on the buildings you are asking about (if you haven't already found his page).
